Hi there!…and welcome to my blog. It’s good to have you and I hope you’ll enjoy my personal “pearls” of wisdom. This is a special place where I get to share my intimate and private thoughts with you about life and it's challenges and successes! It’s also a place where I would love to receive your input, comment or feedback. So, please do feel free to comment!
You know, every life begins at some point other than birth and mine started five years ago. As life would have it, I found myself living a life different from what I had always imagined when I was little girl. I had very little direction and far less motivation to help propel me in the direction I wanted to go. What I did have were nights filled with doubt in my ability to make any serious changes in my life. I had an idea of what I wanted my life to look like, however, I was clueless as to what the first step needed to be.
So, after the decision to “feel the fear and do it anyway”, a seven and a half hour flight across the ocean and three years learning how to speak English, it would be ‘in hindsight’ I would appreciate the significant life changing decision that would prove the catalyst for my personal story. I remember a woman saying to me “either you’re crazy or very very brave.” I can laugh now thinking back on that conversation. The truth was I don’t think I was neither crazy or brave, I simply wanted a change and made one simple decision. Okay, maybe it wasn’t so simple, but it was a decision to do something different!
Now years later, albeit a few grey hairs and my own Life Coaching business to boot, I realize it was all part of the ‘maser plan’! Did I realize that then? Oh no! The only thing that I realized, after spending seven hours with immigration explaining my one-way ticket, was I had lost my mind or so I thought at the time. However, I had a goal of owning my own business. Later that “goal” became my passion for helping people with their own personal development. In time, after four years of professional training, I learned to follow that passion as a life coach.
Being a life coach is my dream come true; it’s not what I do, but who I am. All in all, I hope these pearls of mine lead you to your own buried treasure of wisdom. For now, you can borrow mine…;-).
